ABOUT THE BLOG:

Having spent a couple of years away from home in hostel/ PG for studies/ job is something most of us have experienced and we were no different. Eating bland or oily food with little or no veggies is commonplace. What made us different was our quest and determination to eat healthy despite being offered little to no nutritious food at mess. Did our determination suffice to get what we wanted? The answer is unfortunately a NO. That didn’t deter us though. We left no stone unturned in our attempt by doing all sorts of jugaad/ make-shift with whatever was available and tried to healthify junk food. Looking at it in retrospect, we now understand there can be many other ways to make healthy eating easier for people staying away from home with the resources available. All you need is intention, planning and action to get closer to the goal.

Cooking is therapeutic and brings us joy. There are times when we prefer making healthy recipes in a jiffy and other sometimes do not mind spending hours at kitchen to prepare something new and elaborate.

With this blog, we intend to provide healthy recipes. For many people, eating healthy is synonymous with eating boring & tasteless food. We are here to shatter that perception with our nutritious and tasty recipes. We want to make eating and cooking healthy a fun and easy thing to do.
