What they didn't tell you about peanuts 🥜?

Peanut butter is marketed by different brands for being protein rich and a great addition to your diet irrespective of the age group. However, they missed to tell you one important thing and that is the 'protein quality'. A complete protein implies that it provides all the nine essential amino acids required to perform the functions in the body. Plant based protein sources are incomplete (except soyabean). However, when two complementary protein sources are consumed together, they provide us complete protein. Check out our article on  complementary proteins  to understand better.  Considering that peanuts are enjoyed as salted peanuts, peanut candy/ laddu, peanut butter sandwich/ toast, it is incomplete protein in itself.
