Healthy snack: Aloo tofu tikki (Tofu recipes)

Craving aloo tikki but worried about all that oil? 🍽️ 

Let’s make it at home with a healthy twist! Try this Aloo Tofu Tikki – packed with protein and calcium for that extra boost. 💪 It’s a great choice to satisfy your snack cravings without any worries! 😋




Makes 10 tikkis 


Ingredients:

Potatoes (boiled)- 4 medium

Tofu- 200 gm

Cumin powder- 1 tsp

Red chilli powder- 1 tsp 

Salt- to taste

Oil- 2 tsp


Method:

🔸In a bowl, add grated tofu, boiled and mashed potatoes. 

🔸Add cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and mix well. 

🔸Form round balls and flatten them to make tikkis. 

🔸In a hot tawa, grease with oil, then place the tikkis. 

🔸Flip and cook on both sides using little oil and cook till golden brown in color. 

🔸Serve hot with chutney of your choice.


Notes:

We have kept it simple, but you can add chopped onions, coriander leaves and boiled green peas as well for added flavor.
